🚨 BREAKING NEWS IN MILTON: Liberals Flip Seat as Kristina Tesser Derksen Defeats Parm Gill by Just 29 Votes! 🚨

Updated: May 2

Milton East–Halton Hills South has made history this week in one of the tightest races in the country! On May 2nd, the Returning Officer officially validated the results: Liberal candidate Kristina Tesser Derksen has defeated Conservative incumbent Parm Gill by a razor-thin margin of just 29 votes.

This dramatic comeback follows a correction posted by Elections Canada after previous totals were found to be in error. The newly validated figures now give the Liberals another crucial seat in the Milton region.

🗳️ Due to the extremely close margin, a manual recount has been triggered — but as of now, Kristina Derksen is officially in the lead.

The mood in Milton is electric as voters react to this stunning upset. With every vote counting more than ever, the 2025 election in Milton East will be one for the history books.

So the riding was "flipped" by just 29 votes. There were 411 "spoiled" ballots, but of course the Public is not allowed to see those. Our electoral system is broken. There is no fixing this. Get out of Canada while you can!
