People who see many police, fire, and ambulance vehicles around Milton District Hospital on November 12  don’t need to worry. Halton police and other emergency crews will be holding a training exercise  at the hospital from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Constable Jeff Dillon said the exercise will simulate how first responders handle an “active attacker”  situation. He explained that it will take place in an unused part of the hospital , so regular hospital services will not be affected.

Halton Regional Police are investigating a residential break-in that resulted in a major theft over the weekend. According to media relations officer Jeff Dillon, unknown suspects forced entry through a rear door at a home on Connaught Terrace around 2:18 a.m. on Sunday, November 9.
