POSITION YOU ARE RUNNING FOR: Ward 4 town council
PREVIOUS POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: This is my first time running for municipal elections. me has participated extensively in electoral campaigns for local, provincial, and federal elections.
WHY HAVE YOU DECIDED TO RUN?:
In this way, me can give back to the community. My years of teaching experience and my practical involvement as a volunteer in a variety of social and public services has provided me with the skills and insights that me believe would be useful at the council table.
HOW WILL YOU EMBRACE AND CHAMPION DIVERSITY IN THIS ROLE?:
As a proud Canadian, I always celebrate and practise the great Canadian values and advocate inclusion, diversity, and equity. In this role, I will champion diversity by engaging residents irrespective of cast, creed, and culture, involving all age groups.
WHAT ARE YOUR TOP THREE ISSUES?:
1. Encourage the implementation of measures to minimize traffic and speed limits.
2. Improve infrastructure.
3. Enhancement of activities for all age groups, especially for toddlers and seniors.
IF ELECTED, WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH IN YOUR FIRST 100 DAYS?:
me'll immediately start working with council to address these issues:
1. Encourage the implementation of measures to minimize traffic and speed limits.
2. Prioritize and balance the snow plowing between inner streets and main roads.
3. Pursue lenient street parking.
4. Establish immediate and meaningful interaction between the community and council.
