No parking on Milton streets with winter storm expected to roll in tonight.

Due to an anticipated winter storm in Milton starting this evening (Feb. 27), the Town has suspended on-street parking until further notice. This is to facilitate the efficient and safe clearing of snow and treating of roadways (salting and sanding) without any parked vehicles causing obstruction.

It is important to note that any vehicles obstructing snow-clearing operations may be subject to a ticket and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

Residents are reminded not to shovel snow from their property onto the road or sidewalk as this is a violation of Milton’s road fouling bylaw.

To accommodate residents who rely on street parking exceptions, the Town will maintain certain park parking lots throughout the winter, providing them with an alternative parking option when exceptions are suspended for snow removal purposes.
