
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division is appealing for witnesses following a hit-and-run collision involving a white tractor-trailer and a Toyota Corolla on Highway 401 in Milton.
The incident occurred early Saturday morning at approximately 5:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Hwy. 401, between James Snow Parkway and Regional Road 25. According to police reports, the tractor-trailer collided with the Corolla and then fled the scene without stopping.
Emergency responders transported two occupants of the Corolla to the hospital with injuries. Their current condition has not been disclosed.
The OPP is urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area during that time to come forward. Witnesses are encouraged to contact the Mississauga OPP at 905-858-8670.
