
Local residents returned home Sunday afternoon to find their rural Milton house had been broken into. According to Halton police media relations officer Ryan Anderson, unknown suspect(s) forced their way into the home by smashing a rear glass door at a residence on First Line Nassagaweya. Inside, the house was found “tossed,” with belongings scattered and drawers left open. Police were contacted at approximately 2 p.m. on February 23.
At this time, it remains unclear what was stolen, and there is no information available on the suspect(s). Authorities are reviewing security footage from nearby properties and urging residents to check their surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity.
