After breaking into a Milton supermarket, the bold burglar took the cash register with him.

Burglar breaks into Milton supermarket, grabs cash register.

In a brazen break-in that occurred overnight between Sunday, Jan. 8 and Monday, Jan. 9, a burglar entered Kabul Farms Supermarket located at 550 Ontario St. S by prying open a back door and carried away the cash register.

Halton Regional Police are investigating the incident. Additionally, at around the same time, an attempted break-in occurred at a nearby dental office on Bronte St. S and Anne Blvd. but the perpetrator was unsuccessful in gaining entrance.

Police currently have no description of the suspects and it is not known if the incidents are related.
