A child riding a scooter was struck by a vehicle in Milton on Thursday evening, June 26, at around 6 p.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of Scott Boulevard and Willet Terrace while the youth was using a crosswalk, according to Halton Regional Police.
Emergency crews, including firefighters and paramedics, responded swiftly to the scene. The child was assessed on-site and transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Halton police have confirmed that the driver involved in the incident has been charged with careless driving
