Citizen Tip Helps Police Charge Man with Impaired Driving

A man is facing several charges after a citizen’s complaint in Milton.
Halton police say they responded to the area of Tremaine Road and Steeles Avenue around 9:45 p.m. on Sept. 28, following a tip from a concerned resident about a possible impaired driver.
After investigating, officers charged a 44-year-old Caledon man with operation while impaired, failure to comply with a demand, and driving while under suspension.
Police note that the charges have not yet been proven in court.
