Driver Injured After Vehicle Crashes into Utility Pole on Steeles

Halton Regional Police Service are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred over the weekend in the southern part of the municipality.

Officers say that at approximately 6:50 a.m. on Sunday, an Acura sedan travelling eastbound on Steeles Avenue near Sixth Line collided with a traffic light pole located on the median.

The 43-year-old male driver, a resident of Caledon, was transported to hospital as a precaution.

The investigation remains ongoing.
