A Milton man is facing several charges after a late-night traffic stop last week.
Halton police say they responded to a citizen-reported traffic complaint just after 11 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, in the area of Derry Road and Walkers Line.
Following an investigation, officers charged a 34-year-old Milton man under the Criminal Code with impaired driving and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 milligrams or more within two hours.
He also faces charges under the Highway Traffic Act for using a license plate not authorized for his vehicle, and under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act for driving without insurance.
Police note that none of the charges have been proven in court.
