Knife Brandished in Attempted E-Bike Theft in Milton Neighborhood

Halton police are searching for two young suspects following an attempted armed robbery in Milton on the evening of Friday, May 9.

Media relations officer Ryan Anderson reported that the incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. near Scott Boulevard and Dymott Avenue. A male teenager was riding his e-bike when he was approached by two youths on a dirt bike who initiated a conversation.

The situation quickly escalated as the pair surrounded the teen, with one suspect pulling out a knife and demanding the e-bike. The victim managed to flee the scene on his e-bike without injury.
