A group of 100 women in Milton is getting ready to donate to a charity in April. They're called 100 Women Who Care Milton. This is their second gathering of 2024.

They meet up to hear from three local charities. Then, they vote on which one they want to give money to. Each member usually gives $100, but since the pandemic, they've been more flexible about it.

Back in January, they picked the Lighthouse for Grieving Children and Families to receive their donation. They gave $6,800 to help local families dealing with grief, loss, and change.

The gathering is happening on Wednesday, April 10th, at Boston Pizza in Milton. Registration starts at 6:00 p.m., and the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. It's going to last about an hour. The Lighthouse for Grieving Children and Families will be there too, to talk about how they used the money.
