McDonald's in Milton joyfully celebrated McHappy Day on Wednesday.
Since 1977, McHappy Day in Canada has been dedicated to supporting families in need through the Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC). A portion of the proceeds from every item sold on McHappy Day is donated to RMHC and other local charitable organizations.
Representatives from the Milton District Hospital Foundation were present at the McDonald's located on Santa Maria Boulevard in Milton, as their organization is one of the significant local beneficiaries of this special day.
Cam Binnie, the local franchise owner, expressed his anticipation for McHappy Day, considering it an important event on his calendar.
On average, over 26,000 families in Canada receive support from RMHC each year.
