A terrifying incident unfolded yesterday afternoon at a local optometry practice in Milton.
Halton Police media relations officer Ryan Anderson reported that four masked men, one armed with a hammer, shattered the glass door of All Eyes on Me, located in the Derry Road and Bronte Street plaza, at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 21).
Employees and witnesses quickly retreated to the back of the store as the suspects stole the cash register and glasses from display cases before fleeing the scene.
Thankfully, no physical injuries were reported during the robbery.
Police are still working to identify the suspects and their vehicle, and the total value of the stolen items has not yet been determined.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Halton Police at 905-825-4777.
