Milton Legion accepting donations for spring garage sale

With spring arriving, many people feel motivated to clean and declutter their homes. If you have items, you no longer need, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 136 is inviting the community to donate them for its upcoming spring garage sale.

The Legion, located at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 136, is collecting items for a fundraiser scheduled for April 20. Money raised from the sale will support the Legion’s programs and services.

Items that can be donated include:

  • Clothes, shoes, and accessories (please place clothing in bags)

  • Household textiles

  • Small household goods and kitchen items

  • Books and media

Donations can be dropped off at the Milton Legion between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

If you cannot drop off your items, you can contact the Ladies Auxiliary at 647-239-9439 to arrange a pickup.

Anyone interested in renting a table for the garage sale can book one by contacting Alma at 905-878-9838.
