Milton Man Charged After Late-Night RIDE Program Stop

A man is facing an impaired driving charge following a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) initiative in Milton.
Halton police say officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of James Snow Parkway and Reading Court on Feb. 17 at approximately 11:25 p.m.
As a result of the investigation, a 55-year-old Milton man was charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding 80 milligrams within two hours of driving.
The charge has not yet been tested in court.
