Milton Man Violates Release Conditions by Continuing to Run Holistic Centre Amid Sexual Assault

A 59-year-old Milton man, previously charged with sexual assault and banned from offering holistic healing services, has been arrested again for allegedly continuing to run a clinic under a different name.

According to Halton Regional Police, the man was arrested on June 4 and charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order. Investigators discovered he had resumed operations under the new business name Sunnah Hijama, despite court-imposed conditions that prohibited him from practicing.

The original investigation began on September 4, when a woman reported being sexually assaulted during a visit to Holistic Hijama, a clinic located on Weston Drive in Milton, where the accused was working at the time. He was charged last fall with two counts of sexual assault.

Police state the accused also previously practiced in Mississauga. Authorities believe there may be additional victims or witnesses who received treatment at either Holistic Hijama or Sunnah Hijama after September 5.

Anyone with information is asked to call 905-825-4777, extension 8970.
