Milton Wants Your Voice in the 2026 Budget – Have Your Say!

The Town of Milton is calling on residents, local businesses, and community organizations to share their ideas and priorities for the 2026 Budget. This annual process ensures that taxpayer dollars are used to support the services, programs, and infrastructure that matter most to our community.

🔹 What’s This About? Milton’s Capital and Operating Budgets fund essential services—from road repairs and park upgrades to fire services, transit, and recreation programs. This year’s budget will build on insights from Town-led studies and the 2022 Citizen Engagement Survey.

📅 Key Budget Timeline:

  • July–August: Public input collected

  • Sept. 8: Council reviews budget pressures

  • November: Draft budget released

  • Dec. 1: Final budget review and approval

🗣️ Share your feedback by Aug. 22 on Let’s Talk Milton to be included in the September Budget Call report. Feedback after that date will still be shared with Council before final budget decisions.

📊 Why It Matters: This is your chance to help guide investments in Milton’s future—everything from infrastructure and stormwater to snow removal and community programming.
