A 21-year-old Milton woman was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross Highway 401.
According to the OPP, the woman was with a 22-year-old companion when they tried to cross the westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Tremaine Road in Milton. The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26.
Authorities are asking any witnesses to come forward and contact Mississauga OPP at 905-858-8670.
