Several people were injured, including one seriously, after a crash involving a motorcycle and a car in Milton early Sunday morning.
Halton Regional Police say the collision happened around 4:40 a.m. on Trafalgar Road, just south of Britannia Road.
Investigators report that a white Yamaha motorcycle, traveling northbound, struck the rear of a blue Mazda sedan. The motorcyclist, a man, suffered a broken leg. The Mazda driver stopped to help, along with two other southbound drivers who pulled over to assist.
Tragically, while they were helping and waiting for EMS, a grey Toyota Sienna minivan traveling northbound struck the group. One victim suffered serious head injuries and a broken leg.
The motorcyclist and the Mazda driver were both transported to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto with significant injuries, while the two other Good Samaritans were taken to a local hospital with minor leg injuries.
Halton Police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is now leading the investigation.
