Stolen Transport Truck Found in York Region After Steeles Avenue Theft

Halton Regional Police are investigating after a transport truck was stolen from a commercial lot in Milton.

According to police, the theft occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of Steeles Avenue and James Snow Parkway. Investigators say a second truck at the scene had been tampered with but was not taken.

The stolen vehicle was later recovered the same day in York Region. Police have identified the suspect vehicle as a blue pickup truck, but no descriptions of the suspect(s) have been released.
