Street Racers Caught Red-Handed on Steeles Ave in Milton

Two drivers in luxury sedans were caught attempting to street race on Steeles Avenue in Milton over the long weekend — right in front of a police cruiser. As the light turned green, the pair launched forward, unaware that a Halton Regional Police vehicle was right behind them.

Officers acted immediately, pulling the drivers over. Both individuals now face charges, had their vehicles impounded, and their licenses suspended.

This comes as Halton Police continue their efforts under Project ERASE, a GTA-wide initiative targeting street racing and dangerous driving through proactive enforcement and public education.

Let’s keep Milton’s roads safe.
