Summer Roadwork Ahead: Three Major Milton Roads Set for Construction

The Town of Milton is kicking off its 2025 Expanded Asphalt Program—an efficient and cost-effective initiative aimed at improving local roads, enhancing safety, and upgrading infrastructure. This year’s construction will focus on road reconstruction, driveway transitions, and the cleaning, repair, and replacement of culverts along three key routes:

  • Kelso Road – from Regional Road 22 to the park entrance

  • No. 15 Side Road – from Regional Road 1 (Guelph Line) to Fourth Line, Nassagaweya

  • Sixth Line – from 1.8 km north of Lower Base Line to Regional Road 6 (Britannia Road)

Construction is set to begin in mid-May and will continue through the fall, weather permitting. To accelerate progress, single-lane closures will be in place daily, and drivers should expect traffic delays. Access will be maintained for residents and emergency services, and those directly affected by staged closures will be notified in advance.
