Thieves Force Open Lockbox at Milton Business
Halton police are investigating an overnight break-in at a Main Street business that occurred over the weekend. Police say that sometime between midnight and 9:30 a.m., unknown suspect(s) forced open a lockbox outside the IELTS Testing Centre. A man has been charged with impaired driving after a single-vehicle crash in Milton. Halton Regional Police say officers were called to the scene near James Snow Parkway and Dublin Line early Wednesday morning, Feb. 4, at approximately 4:30 a.m. After investigating the incident, police charged a 39-year-old man from Bolton with operating a vehicle while impaired. Security Gate Stops Break-In Attempt at Milton Store
A suspected break-in attempts at a business on Steeles Avenue ended unsuccessfully early Friday morning (Jan. 30). Halton Regional Police say surveillance footage shows an unknown individual smashing the front window of the EB Games location around 2 a.m. However, a security gate prevented the suspect from gaining access.
