Halton Regional Police are appealing for information after a motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a Milton hit-and-run involving a grey pickup truck.

Halton Regional Police have opened a new 66,000-square-foot 1 District station at 7930 Hornby Road, replacing the existing 12 Division facility in Milton. A public opening is expected in the fall.

Halton Regional Police say a joint investigation with Waterloo Regional Police led to the seizure of about $5 million in methamphetamine and cocaine. Two men have been charged and were held for bail hearings in Milton.
