100 Women Who Care Milton Gears Up for January Meeting

The group, 100 Women Who Care Milton, has set the date for their first gathering of 2025. This group meets to hear presentations from three local charities, votes, and awards one charity with donations from its members. While the traditional donation is $100 per member, a "donate-what-you-can" approach has been used since the pandemic.

In September, the group awarded $9,200 to The Optimist Club of Milton, a local organization supporting youth in the community for over 40 years.

The next meeting is on Wednesday, January 22nd, at Ned Devine’s Irish Pub, 575 Ontario Street South, Milton. Registration starts at 6:00 p.m., and the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., lasting about an hour. The Optimist Club of Milton will attend to share how they’ve used the funds so far.
