Annual Milton Run Returns to Support Local Hospital

Milton residents are once again being encouraged to lace up for a good cause as the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association prepares to host its eighth annual Run for Milton.

The fundraiser takes place Saturday (Oct. 4) at Milton Community Park (805 Santa Maria Blvd.), beginning at 11 a.m. Participants can choose between a 5k run or a 1k fun walk, with everyone welcome to join or donate online at runformilton.ca.

So far, about $35,000 has been raised toward this year’s $100,000 goal in support of Milton District Hospital.

“Run for Milton is more than just an event — it’s a reminder of what makes our community special,” said event chair Mukhayyar Rajput. “It unites people from all walks of life, breaking down barriers and bringing us together with one shared purpose: to support our hospital.”
