Arts Milton is celebrating its 25th anniversary by inviting local artists and creatives to a special mixer in the heart of downtown.
Vice President Amy Leask highlighted the significance of the milestone, stating, “Keeping anything going for 25 years is an amazing accomplishment. It shows how creative pursuits not only enrich us personally but also help us connect with others and foster community growth.”
The event will take place on January 30 at The Eighth Note, located at 243 Main St. E, from 7 to 9 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, network, and perhaps make new friends.
This gathering aligns with Arts Milton’s longstanding mission to build connections and inspire creativity. Over the years, the organization has spearheaded initiatives such as Milton Culture Days and The Friendship Project, which unites immigrants and host families through the arts.
Program coordinator Diksha Pal Narayan expressed the organization’s vision for 2025, emphasizing a focus on collaboration. “We want this year to be all about partnerships,” she said. “Imagine multidisciplinary visual artists teaming up with culinary artists—there’s so much potential for creative synergy.”
The mixer is free and open to the public, offering a welcoming space for the community to celebrate the arts and Arts Milton’s enduring legacy.
