Attempted Thefts Target Commercial Vehicles at Milton Lot

According to media relations officer Jeff Dillon, a man wearing a dark hooded sweater and dark pants was seen at the property near Steeles Avenue and Wheelabrator Way during an attempted theft of a Ford van around 1:25 a.m. on Wednesday.

The suspect broke a side window to get inside the vehicle, but the van was not taken.

Police say a similar incident occurred at the same location sometime between March 10 and March 11, when the door lock of a Ford box truck was tampered with.

Investigators do not currently have a suspect description for that incident and are asking anyone with security camera footage from the area to come forward.
