Milton had its first baby of 2024 just a few hours into the new year.
Baby Lee was born at 2:50 a.m. on Monday, January 1st, 2024, weighing a healthy nine pounds and nine ounces.
The staff, professionals, and volunteers at Milton District Hospital and Halton Healthcare have sent their best wishes and congratulations to the family. Having a baby is always a big deal, and the team is happy to be part of these special moments, says the release.
Halton Healthcare shared that they welcomed 4,565 babies through their Maternal Child Departments at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Milton District Hospital, and Georgetown Hospital last fiscal year.
The message also expresses gratitude to the dedicated obstetrical team members who play a crucial role in ensuring safe childbirth and the well-being of both mothers and babies.
