Global Pet Brand Invests $20 Million to Launch New Cat Litter Packaging Facility in Milton

A major global brand is making waves in Milton! 🌍🐾 The Angelcare Group has officially opened its brand-new $20 million, 130,000-square-foot logistics and packaging centre in the west end of Milton. This marks the company’s first dedicated packaging facility for clumping cat litter — a significant milestone for both Angelcare and the community.

The new facility will start by creating 15 full-time jobs, with plans to double the workforce as production scales up and exports across the U.S. and global markets increase. Equipped with a cutting-edge automated packaging line, the center can produce an impressive 4.6 million boxes annually.

Angel care Group CEO Rahul Sharda shared that this expansion highlights the company’s confidence in Canada as the cornerstone of its global operations:

The Angelcare family includes well-known brands like Angelcare, Diaper Genie, Litter Genie, Pet Genie, Compost Genie, Litter Locker, PA bobo, and Kids ’Sleep.

The new Milton facility will serve as Angelcare’s national warehouse and distribution hub and will be home to Litter Genie Light, a proudly Product of Canada cat litter made from Canadian bentonite clay. Looking ahead, the company plans to transform the site into a full innovation hub, complete with an R&D lab, demo space, and training Centre — solidifying Milton’s growing reputation as a Centre for innovation and industry growth.
