Hops and Harvest is back, but at a new location.
The annual Conservation Halton autumn festival will be held at Area 8 Conservation Area in Milton Sept 23-25. The former Kelso Quarry is Conservation Halton’s newest rehabilitated park, offering unique landscapes and views.
The festival will feature local food and beverages and artisan vendors. There will be a photo booth, live musicians, games, face painting, hatchet throwing, wood branding, honey and maple syrup tasting, farm animals, pumpkin painting, boat rentals and a campfire lounge.
It is also an opportunity to hike the trails, admire the scenery and support local businesses.
The festival opens Friday, Sept. 23 from 2-9 p.m., runs from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Area 8 is located at 5347 Steeles Ave. West in Milton. Tickets can be purchased online at www.hopsandharvest.ca.
