Large coyote spotted outside of Milton Walmart, residents reminded not to feed wildlife

A large coyote was recently spotted outside of the Walmart in Milton.

Photos of the sighting were posted to the Milton Talk Facebook group with the user captioning the post “Milton Walmart right now.”

In the photo, the large coyote is seen walking along the grass outside of the store, located at 1280 Steeles Ave. E.

this time of year, it’s common to spot coyotes who are on the prowl to feed themselves and their hungry pups. As a result, the Town of Milton often issues reminders to the community to never feed wildlife.

With the recent coyote attacks that occurred in Burlington, it’s important for residents to remain alert at all times when they’re outdoors with their families or pets.
