Milton Baithak Hosts Community Candidates Q&A with 12 Local Election Candidates
MILTON, ON — September 28, 2026 — Milton Baithak successfully hosted a Candidates Q&A event on Saturday, September 26, bringing together approximately 75 candidates, residents, guests and community members for an evening of respectful and informative election discussion.
The event gave Milton residents an opportunity to learn directly from candidates about their campaigns, platforms and priorities for the community.
The recorded program was organized into three separate segments:
Ward 4 Town Councillor candidates
Ward 4 Regional Councillor candidates
Milton mayoral candidates
Each candidate was given an opportunity to introduce themselves, discuss their campaign priorities and respond to moderated questions based on their publicly available campaign materials and issues raised by community members.

Positive and Respectful Community Discussion
The event maintained a positive and respectful atmosphere throughout the evening. Candidates shared their perspectives on local priorities and explained how they intend to address community concerns if elected.
Questions focused on the candidates’ campaigns, proposed policies, community priorities and their ability to deliver on the commitments presented in their campaign materials. Personal questions were not included, and all audience questions were presented through the moderator to maintain an organized and respectful discussion.
Following the recorded sessions, candidates had an opportunity to meet residents personally and continue conversations in a relaxed community setting.
A Non-Partisan Community Initiative
Milton Baithak does not endorse or oppose any candidate. All participating candidates were treated equally and given the same opportunity to present their ideas and communicate with residents.
The purpose of the event was not to influence voters toward any individual candidate. Its purpose was to help residents better understand:
Who the candidates are
What each candidate is proposing
How candidates plan to address community concerns
How their campaign commitments could be delivered
What priorities they would bring to elected office
Milton Baithak believes that informed and respectful conversations help residents make their own independent decisions during an election.
