Is your organization looking for a financial boost to support local programs or events? The Milton Community Fund is now accepting applications for its 2026 funding cycle.
From May 12 to July 28, eligible not-for-profit organizations can apply for grants to support initiatives that enhance Milton’s artistic, cultural, and recreational life. Approximately $425,000 in funding is available. Successful applicants will be announced in January 2026.
Steve Palmer, Milton’s Director of Recreation and Culture, emphasized the importance of the fund:
“The Milton Community Fund plays a vital role in supporting organizations that unite and uplift our community. We are proud to provide resources that help build connections, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to making Milton a true place of possibility for everyone.”
The fund is made possible through contributions from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), in recognition of Milton’s role as host to Elements Casino Mohawk. Since its inception 25 years ago, the fund has distributed more than $8.1 million to local groups.
In 2024, Milton Council approved $433,168 in grants in support of 44 organizations, including the North Halton Girls Hockey Association, the Milton Curling Club and United Way of Halton & Hamilton.

Organizations unable to accept funding from the OLG are encouraged to contact town staff for information, as alternative funding sources are available.
