Local Christians are bringing their faith into the heart of the community this Saturday, December 6, as the second annual Milton Christmas Prayer Walk returns from 3 to 5 p.m. across town.
Participants will gather at five different starting points, uniting with one goal: to pray for the people of Milton and open the door for them “to know the love of God, the Prince of Peace.”
Although several local churches are helping lead the initiative, everyone is welcome — whether you’re part of a church community or not.
3 p.m. Starting Locations:
Bristol District Park – Thompson Rd. & Louis St. Laurent (at the gazebo)
Victoria Park – Beside Town Hall at Mary St. & Bell St. (at the gazebo)
Halloway Park – Scott Blvd. & Hunting ford Gate
St. Peter Catholic Elementary School – Dixon Dr. & Pearson Way
Optimist Park – Savoline Blvd. & Merkley Gate (beside Lumen Christi Catholic Elementary School)
The Prayer Walk will begin and end at these hubs, where local leaders will hand out prayer prompt cards to guide participants along the way. No registration is required — simply show up and walk in community.
To close the day, everyone is invited to join a community worship gathering at 6 p.m. at Redhill Church, 6150 Trafalgar Rd.
