Milton Library to Host Mental Health Fair.

Mental health resources are as diverse as the individuals who need them, and Milton Public Library (MPL) is stepping up to ensure the community knows what’s available.

The library will host its Mental Health Awareness Fair on Saturday, the 23rd, at the Main Branch, located at 1010 Main St. The event, held in collaboration with Just Be You and Unsinkable, will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

This initiative is primarily geared toward youth aged 16 to 26, offering an engaging platform to explore mental health resources. However, the event is open to all Milton residents interested in connecting with local advocates and organizations dedicated to mental well-being.

Attendees can expect a vibrant afternoon filled with interactive games, hands-on activities, delicious food, and opportunities to meet representatives from various support groups and mental health organizations. The goal is to foster awareness and empower young people to take charge of their mental health in a supportive and welcoming environment.

MPL emphasizes that the fair is an excellent opportunity for youth to "take an active role in their mental well-being" while connecting with peers and professionals alike. Whether you're seeking information, support, or simply a fun way to spend an afternoon, this event promises something for everyone.
