Milton Resident Charged with Impaired Driving After Citizen Tip-Off

A Milton man is facing impaired driving charges following a late-night incident earlier this week.
Halton police report that officers were called to the area of Reis Place shortly after midnight on Wednesday, Sept. 24, after receiving a public tip about a possible impaired driver.
Upon investigation, a 40-year-old Milton resident was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and exceeding a blood alcohol concentration of 80 milligrams or more within two hours.
Police note that the charges have not yet been proven in court.
