Milton's hospital gets a big donation from a volunteer group

The Milton District Hospital is getting a large donation from the Milton District Hospital Auxiliary (MDHA).

In May, the group gave a cheque for $110,000 at their General Meeting. The money will be used to buy new equipment for the hospital.

The Annual General Meeting celebrated the hard work and dedication of the MDHA volunteers over the past year and honored their ongoing service.

Federal funding only covers building costs, so donations help buy medical equipment for the staff.
