Milton Teens Charged in Violent Carjackings

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested two teenage males and laid multiple charges following three violent carjacking incidents in Milton and Burlington.

On March 27, 2026, around 3:50 p.m., two masked suspects approached a driver near Derry Road and Farmstead Drive in Milton. The victim was forcibly removed from the vehicle, and the suspects fled toward Burlington.

Within the next hour, two additional carjackings took place in Burlington—first near Britannia Road and Walkers Line around 4:40 p.m., and shortly after near Cedar Springs Road and Britannia Road.

Police quickly responded, locating one suspect at the scene of the first Burlington incident. The second suspect was found later that evening following further investigation.

All three victims were forcibly removed from their vehicles, with one adult male suffering serious injuries. Fortunately, no weapons were used, and all stolen vehicles have since been recovered.

🔹 A 17-year-old from Milton faces charges including robbery, theft of a motor vehicle with violence, and disguise with intent. 🔹 A second 17-year-old from Milton faces multiple counts of robbery, theft of a motor vehicle with violence, disguise with intent, and dangerous operation causing bodily harm.

Both suspects remain in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton. Due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, their identities cannot be released.
