Milton to Host Pride Parade This Weekend

Milton is gearing up for a Pride Parade this weekend!

Last month, the Town of Milton declared June as Pride Month and raised a flag at Town Hall. Now, the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community and its allies are ready to celebrate with a vibrant parade.

PRISM Halton organizes the event. Founder and Chair Melanie Tremills is excited and hopes this year's parade will be bigger and better than ever. Tremills also hopes the parade will become an annual tradition that grows within the community.

The second annual Halton Pride Parade will take place on Sunday, July 14th, rolling down Main Street in Milton. A vendor market will open at noon, with the parade starting at 2:00 p.m.
