Milton Transit is going to have a new bus route in the industrial park.

Starting January 2, Milton Transit is introducing a new fixed bus route along one of Milton's busiest areas, the 401 Industrial Business Park. The Route 1 High Point will follow a specific schedule on weekdays, covering Ontario Street North, Steeles Avenue East, Regional Road 25, and Park Hill Drive. Currently, these areas are served by Milton Transit OnDemand.

During peak hours in the morning and afternoon, the new route will run every 20 minutes, and midday it will be every 40 minutes. In the evenings from 7:30 to 10:11 p.m. on weekdays and from 7:10 a.m. to 7:40 p.m. on Saturdays, the service in this area will shift to OnDemand.

The Route 1 High Point will maintain connections with other routes and services at the Milton GO Station and the RR25/Hwy. 401 park-and-ride area. Additionally, there will be connection points at Conestoga College's Park Hill campus and Steeles Avenue campus.
