More Than 70 Potential Crime Cases Reported in Milton Last Week

Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has released the latest crime map update for Milton, outlining when and where incidents were reported between Monday, September 22 and Monday, September 29.

During that week, at least 73 potential crime cases were recorded. Of those, 31 involved various types of theft, seven were hit-and-run incidents, and two were break-and-enters.

With theft and vehicle-related crimes making up a large portion of the reports, HRPS is reminding residents to take extra precautions:

  • Always lock and secure unattended vehicles

  • Never leave spare keys inside your vehicle

  • Keep valuables out of plain sight

  • Consider installing a vehicle alarm system
