Police Warn Public About Armed Suspect in Hwy. 401 Shooting Incident.

Provincial police are asking the public to stay alert after a man allegedly fired shots at multiple vehicles on Highway 401 early Tuesday morning.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a 29-year-old Toronto man is wanted in connection with the incident, which occurred just after 5 a.m. in Mississauga. More than 10 cars were hit by gunfire, but thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.

Police allege the suspect also stole a vehicle from a motorist before fleeing the area. He was last seen in Etobicoke.
