Early Morning Transport Truck Crash Shuts Down Ninth Line in Milton

A portion of Ninth Line in Milton is closed Tuesday morning after a crash involving a transport truck.
According to the Halton Regional Police Service, a tractor-trailer veered off the road and struck a hydro pole, bringing down wires across the roadway.
Police shared news of the collision in an online post shortly after 8 a.m. on Feb. 24, though the exact time of the crash was not provided. No injuries have been reported.
As a result of the damage, Ninth Line is closed between Steeles Avenue and #5 Side Road. The closure is expected to remain in effect “for the next few hours” while repairs are completed.
Motorists are being asked to use alternate routes.
